Description:

This is not a Remote position, Candidate must be able to work at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany NY.

Reviews medical records for content and completeness.  Identifies and flags them for the appropriate medical staff member to complete.  Data enters deficiency into record software.

What you will do:

  • Analyzes medical records for documentation deficiencies and missing reports with accuracy.
  • Assemble and analyzes assigned workload.
  • Maintains data integrity.
  • Maintains integrity of the medical record.

What you will need:

  • 1 – 3 years' experience in a medical record department, patient care area or physician office is required to have an overall understanding of the medical record and its components.

Education Requirements:

  • AAS in secretarial science or equivalent education / experience.

Pay Range: $17.85 - $23.33

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
