Description:

At St. Francis Hospital our Registered Nurse RN on Medical Surgical provides quality care primarily for adult patients before and after surgical procedures. Coordinating healthcare plans with the team, administering medications, as well as educating patients on their surgical procedures.   Our work ethic is the cornerstone of all we do at St. Francis Hospital. What you will do:

In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.  BSN graduate preferred.

• Registered Nurse RN Licensure: Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.

• Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC).

• Experience: Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.

Work Schedule: Part Time-24 Nights-12 Hour Shifts-Every other Weekend/Holidays
